Minutes of the Annual Meeting of the Parish of North Kelsey held in the Village Hall on Tuesday 10th March  2020 at 6.30pm

Those present: Councillors S March, J Perry, D Weir, R Smith ( chair ), L Barker, J Lomas, In attendance: J Waite (Clerk) 4 members of the public.

1   To receive apologies and reasons for absence Ref 20/165

Cllr T Turner Cllr L Strange Cllr Bryan.

2   To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary or non-pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests.   Ref 20/166

None received.

3   Opening remarks for the Chair. Ref 20/167

North Kelsey Parish Council have been involved in several projects throughout the past year, including sourcing grant funding for work on the cemetery chapel and the wild life area at the park, subsidising the continuation of the Post Office service at the Village Hall and positioning speeding warning signs around the village.

4   Public Questions Ref 20/168

Mr and Mrs Hunt will continue to maintain the planting boxes around the village.

Concern raised about any more new developments being planned around the village – the council is unaware of any at present, and all building must now be in the village build line, and the Local Plan.

Request made again for a weight restriction for traffic in the village – resident has approached the MP but nothing has been communicated to the council from the MP.
