RESOLVED:
That the minutes of the meeting be accepted as a true and proper record
237/2526    Police and Crime update
NC09 area reported crime circulated and discussed. January crime down slightly but burglary is a problem. Residents if they see a crime or are victim to it to report to Lincolnshire Police, details to be posted to Facebook.

Cllr.P.Morris (WLDC) 
WLDC have set their budget, an increase of 2.97% about £7.38 for band D Property
Extraordinary meeting has been arranged for w/c 17/03/26 regarding proposal for Local Government Reorganisation 
WLDC have submitted a bid for Scampton, if successful will be administered by Scampton Holdings

Cllr.J.Bean (LCC) Apologies 
LCC Have set their budget, increase of 2.9%.
Recommended 13% rise for councillors allowances voted against
Additional funds made available for the following:- 2 million into pot holes, 2 million into drains and 4 million fire service 
Speed limit at NKM, Lincolnshire Road Safety partnership are to do another survey
Station Road resurfacing still scheduled for 26-27
Drain cleaning ongoing, still issues to be addressed 
Footpath from Station Road to NK is not going to happen, there is no budget for it
Road edge repairs no fit for purpose, addressing this issue with new cut and fill repairs
Planning permission submission for the Solar Farm will be WLDC
Parking restrictions by school have been approved and should be put in place around the end of April depending on work load.

Promotion of the vacancy on Council
Jobs completed, speed camera direction changed, range still to be increased 
Thanks to councillors for their time given cleaning up the cemetery

Cllr J Slater:- The community shop celebrated being open 1 year.

Environment:- Teams meeting 09/03/26, outstanding items from February focus schedule:- planting hedge saplings scheduled for Saturday 28th March 2026 11am at playing field, volunteer request to go out

RESOLVED:
To purchase additional tubing and canes for remaining saplings to be planted around £100.00 net
 
Removal of barbed wire along Carr Road and fencing to be cut to transportation to the prison still required. Woodland area considerations for renovation.  
Monthly Asset Inspection Updates:- 
Cllr.S.March: Playing Field, Minute reference 198/2526 resolved to purchase gravel to fill puddle, order to be placed with Turnbulls bulk bag 20mm £71.80 inc VAT and delivery

The Great British Spring Clean, run by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy, will take place from 13-29 March 2026 Signed up for this
Consultation Cadent’s H2East Pipeline: Humber to Nottinghamshire first phase of consultation for the H2East Pipeline: Humber to Nottinghamshire, run from the 3rd March to 14thApril 2026.

Flooding and Riparian obligations for Alexander Court:- LCC flooding officer James Hawke BSc (Hons) planning to attend on site to inspect the area on 10/03/26 and will provide further response following
