Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held in the Village Hall on Tuesday 8 February 2022, at 7.00pm
Present: Cllr M Williams, Cllr D Hunt, Cllr H Burrows, Cllr R Hunt
In attendance: J Robertson (Clerk)
A public forum was available for members of the public to ask questions, two members of the public were in attendance who wanted to raise concerns regarding the application for an extension to outbuildings at Biesthorpe Farm for the use of a pig unit.
LCC Update –Cllr. Smith sent his apologies. He was aware of the two road traffic incidents that occurred recently thankfully no one was injured in either. He has contacted Graeme Butler who works with the road safety partnership on the 3rd of February and the PCSO.
Regarding the number of drainage issues causing flooding and potholes that are being investigated by the Highways Agency, this will be updated at the next meeting.
WLDC Update – Cllr Morris sent his apologies

21/495 To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary or non-pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests.

21/496 To approve draft minutes of the Meeting on 11 January 2022
Resolved to approve as a true record. Proposed Cllr R Hunt proposed, Seconded Cllr. H Burrows

21/497 Chair & Councillors Report
A resident had asked about plants and bulbs to be planted at North Kelsey Moor.
To be deferred to a later date.
21/498 Clerk’s report on matters outstanding
The Clerk reported that a member of the public had written in regarding issues on the playing field etc.

21/499 Casual Vacancies
Awaiting publication of advert in The Kelsey Group Church and Community News booklet.
21/500 North Kelsey Youth Club
It is unclear as to whether the funds can be released to the Youth Club as the donator was deceased.
Clerk to add to the agenda for the next meeting.
21/501 Litter picking
A local resident contacted the Parish Council with regarding picker etc.
Cllr Burrows to respond giving Cllr D Hunt details to contact.
21/502 Mole Contract
Cllr Burrows to put advert on Parish Council Facebook page for contractors.
Clerk to forward quotes to Cllr Burrows
21/503 Bowls Club
The Bowls Club have submitted a request for support
Resolved – Clerk to respond to advise to contact WLDC
21/504 Issues with the Playing Field
Play area surfacing needs reviewing
Resolved – to defer to the next meeting
21/505 Updates on:
a. New Notice Boards - Ongoing
b. New Seat in Play Area – Ongoing
c. Fencing both on and around the playing field - Ongoing
d. Chapel repairs in cemetery – Ongoing
e. The Queens Diamond Jubilee –

21/506 Financial Matters
The Clerk & RFO reported no payments received since the last meeting and presented accounts for payment.

21/508 Staffing
LALC to be contacted to arrange training for Clerk.
